Aprašymas: I. 'SERBIAN TRANSPORT. Serbs bringing up ammunition and stores on pack mules, for the Serbian Army in Macedonia.' MS as a long column of pack mules passes over a wooden trestle bridge. To the rear of the column are some small artillery pieces. Beside the bridge lies a Serbian soldier, apparently asleep, his head and shoulders supported by his pack, his cap pulled over his face. No-one pays this man any heed, and the passing of the column does not cause him to stir.II. 'ESSEX V ARMY. Sir J. Bethell M.P. kicks off at the football match, the proceeds of which will be spent on Xmas parcels for men at the front.' Sir J Bethell shakes hands with the captains of the two teams. The team with striped jerseys (Essex ?) wins the toss, and Bethell kicks off. LS coverage of the game - the team in plain jerseys score a goal.III. 'WESTMINSTER CADETS. The Catholic Boys Brigade of the Westminster Cadets attend Mass at the Italian Church.' MS as cadets march past led by a band - one diminutive triangle-player seems swamped by his uniform cap. The cadets wear a variety of uniforms and some are in civilian clothes. Cut to cadets leaving the church. Crowds look on.IV. 'PRINCE ARTHUR IN PARIS. Prince Arthur of Connaught inspects the guard of honour at the Invalides, previous to the ceremony.' The Prince and French officers exchange salutes, and he inspects the guard of honour. 'DECORATING FRENCH GENERALS. On behalf of the King, Prince Arthur decorates Generals Balfourier and Drude with the Order of St. Michael and St. George.' Prince Arthur decorates the two Generals. A third anonymous General of Brigade is also decorated. The two French generals pose together - Drude, who has received the lesser award, fingers the ribbon of Balfourier's GCMG. Drude chats with a nursing nun, one of a group of officers, civilians, and injured soldiers who have been decorated. The nun, who is holding her medal case, seems very animated.
